Derelict Land/Property to Become Public Property
Any land or property that has been derelict or unused for more than 5 years should become public property and should be used for social housing/ allotments etc. It seems criminal that such places can be left derelict indefinitely and intentionally when land and houses are in desperately short supply.
Penny Henderson – Secretary, Westmorland and Lonsdale CLP
All Government, Local Authority or National Park Authority Owned Orperated Car Parks To Be Pay on Exit with The First 2 Hours Free. All Car Park Pay Machines To Give Change.
The cost of car parking in Towns and villages and the fear of getting a fine is driving business and visitors away from Town Centres. This is contributing to the decline of town centres and in effect driving people to out of town centres with free parking The current trend to installing pay on enter car parks with number plate recognition it a simple money raising.
